2 Days Livingstone Pact
  • 2 Days Livingstone Pact

With two days in Livingstone, you can do more than just visit Victoria Falls. From sunset cruises to white-water rafting, cultural immersion to lively nightlife, here are our top tips for making the most of 48 hours in the southern Zambian hub.

Day 1: Get Acquainted with Livingstone

**Morning:**Start your day early to sightsee in the morning’s cooler temperatures, benefiting from the insights of a guide as you stroll between landmarks such as the Livingstone Museum and Mukuni Market.

**Afternoon:**Dedicate your afternoon to immersing yourself in Livingstone’s cultural heritage. You can drop into the National Gallery, explore the city’s craft workshops, or pick up traditional recipes and new skills at a cooking class in the home of a local. Most afternoon tours depart from a central location or include hotel pickup.

**Evening:**From waterfront bars to inner-city clubs, international restaurants to local favorites, Livingstone’s laid-back nightlife has enough to entertain backpackers through to luxury holidaymakers.

Day 2: Discover Southern African Attractions

**Day:**From Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, which straddles the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, to the biodiverse Chobe National Park in neighboring Botswana, there are plenty of reasons to escape the city center on your second day. Take advantage of all-day tours that include round-trip transfer and lunch, so you can spend as much time as possible exploring the iconic waterfall, watching wildlife in its native habitat, or fully immersing yourself in the region’s famous landscape with a swimming or white-water rafting experience.

**Evening:**A sunset cruise on the Zambezi River is a great way to unwind after an active day, allowing you to soak up your last views of the dusk-lit landscape as you sip an aperitif, looking out for hippos, elephants, and crocodiles. Arrange for private transfer to the airport to optimize your last evening in the city, leaving you more time to enjoy a relaxing Zambian supper before you depart.
